Coming from the hills of Silchar, this music-lover completed his B.Tech from NIT, Silchar in Mechanical Engineering. Meet Abhra Deb from Silchar, Assam.<\/p>\n

Initially, he got placed at one of the SMEs and started working as a mechanical engineer. Abhra gained knowledge of programming languages but wasn\u2019t being able to use it in his Job. He loved to work on Data but couldn\u2019t figure out how he would be able to do it.<\/p>\n

Some of his friends mentioned Data Science as an option and recommended Ivy Pro School.<\/p>\n

As a student, Abhra is happy for the way Ivy helped him pave his path ahead and he considers himself fortunate enough to have met trainers who helped him grow interested in the field. He says that since \u2018Ivy\u2019s faculty were very focused on hands-on experiential learning based on case studies and assignments, it wasn\u2019t very difficult for me to understand the concepts even though I was not from statistics or economics. We even got special statistics refresher training and the help of a Learning guide for our projects\u2019<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cAttending classes and then working on assignments and relevant case studies was not easy. But I knew that I had to do it, for myself, and that\u2019s how I went ahead with all of it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Abhra didn\u2019t have it all easy though in the beginning. He joined a few companies and accepted many rejections, which had left him with a faded outlook towards his future! He was constantly in touch with Ivy\u2019s faculty as he now not only regarded them as mere trainers but also mentors.<\/p>\n

Motivated by his family, friends and his faculty from Ivy, he started applying for companies in Bengaluru. That\u2019s when he got through one of the top startups in the Data Analytics<\/a> Industry- Nineleaps.<\/p>\n

He enjoys his work and feels happy that he has been able to turn his life over with such momentum.<\/p>\n

He poses as an extremely wonderful example to all those budding analysts who think they can achieve better things in life. He says, \u201cIt is important that you know what your calling is. It is never easy but you have to work and put in your efforts in the right places in order to shape up your life.\u201d<\/p>\n

We wish him all the very best for his future endeavours and feel proud to have found such a warrior amidst all the analysts.<\/p>\n
