In the run-up to weeks of political fanfare, media hype and innovative methods to remain a step ahead, analytics is being used in ways like never before. While Network 18 channels have partnered with Microsoft India for setting up a Microsoft Election Analytics Centre, Times Now has opted for an in-house lab that mashes social media with web analytics on a seamless platform. TCS has just tied up with Twitter India for election app iElect<\/a> and MTS has launched an election tracker<\/a>\u00a0in a move to capture social conversations.<\/p>\n

In such an exciting and hyper active scenario, where the social media ecosystem is being analysed widely for political advantage or to gain insights into the ongoing sentiments of the electorate, the initiative of Hyderabad based ZT Analytics stands out for its unique thrust. Unlike other applications or election news analysis that are stand-alone metrics, the ZT Analytics perspective correlates social media trends with news events to \u201cverify their accuracy\u201d<\/b>. This provides more fine-tuned insights and value to the process of election analysis on an online platform.<\/p>\n
