India Government rolls out a SMAC (social, mobile, analytics, cloud) policy<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif';\">Continuing with the exciting <a href=\"https:\/\/ivyproschool.com\/blog\/blog\/2014\/02\/15\/the-latest-buzz-in-indian-analytics-this-fortnight-in-february\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">news from February<\/a> &#8211; NATGRID integrating real-time analytics in its data centre and disaster recovery\u00a0system \u2013 the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.futuregov.asia\/articles\/2014\/mar\/14\/social-mobile-analytics-and-cloud-indian-e-governm\/\">analytics focus of the Indian Govt. continues with the SMAC technologies<\/a>. The new e-Governance Programme (EGP) 2.0 also known as E-Kranti, plans to set up departments and business models incorporating these practices. The Govt. is already the largest repository of data, with 2.85 billion transactions between the Government and citizens in 2013 alone. Another tech company diversifies into Analytics<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif';\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.computerworld.in\/news\/ca-technologies%E2%80%99-new-india-rd-center-focus-emerging-tech-163632014\">CA Technologies has set-up a second technology center in Bangalore to focus exclusively on emerging technologies,<\/a> in the areas of mobile solutions, digital payments, big data, data science, advanced analytics, devOps and security. From being a pure-play tech firm, CA technologies\u2019 diversification into data science, IT security and advanced analytics, reaffirms the significance of \u00a0analytics and statistical analysis in business processes.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%;\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif';\">#3.
