Presenting Arpita Acharya who has shaped up her career in Analytics after a good two years of maternity leave.
An automation engineer from the City of Joy, Kolkata, Arpita completed her B.Tech in EEE in the year 2013. She started working as an automation engineer in a company during which she had to take her maternity leave for 2 years.
For a career-oriented woman, it was hard to sit back at home. She decided to move to the next level of her career by taking up something that had a huge demand in the market – Data Science.
Looking up a Data Science and Analytics Institute wasn’t as easy as she thought. After going through the curriculum, feedback, reviews and faculty credentials, Arpita zeroed in on Ivy Pro School. However, she still wanted to meet the faculty, understand from experts how they would help her given the flexibility required.
She was pleasantly surprised when she met her Excel Trainer at Ivy who was a Mom herself and could relate well to the challenges of a new mother. This was the moment when she decided to take the plunge!
Ivy supported her with the flexibility of online/offline classes whenever she wanted.
This avid reader would mostly take online lessons at Ivy. There used to be 3-hour classes, and her family knew that these three hours were entirely hers’. The extreme support which she got from her family members, helped her go ahead with the course with punctual submission of her assignments and case studies.
Doodling her way through life, the moody painter has said that Ivy has a very well-planned course structure which helped her immensely to plan her schedule.
She started off with Advanced Excel and was mesmerised with the way Eeshani used to teach. She is very happy with whatever she has learnt from the institute and says “It’s only because of Ivy’s help and my family’s support that I’ve been able to secure a job at a reputed firm.” She currently works as an Analyst at a Multinational Research Organisation.
Arpita is a hard-working individual, and an unforeseen talent to have fallen onto the track of analytics, and we feel extremely lucky to have been a help of this sort in her life.
